Hannah is off to school next year and it is my biggest wish that Sue could be her Prep teacher. Doing the Learningland 4 Kids classes has been a wonderful experience and eagerly awaited each week, in fact, Hannah has often described Learningland 4 Kids as “even better than kinder”. High praise indeed from a four year old that adores kinder! As a parent we have loved this program too – great craft, activities, and it has inspired a love of reading. Wonderful all round.

For almost 2 years now Learningland 4 Kids has been a highlight of our week. Sue is amazing! She is incredibly engaging with the children and makes learning fun. Each week my daughter comes home with new knowledge and skills and a take home craft activity. We are incredibly grateful that my daughter will transition to school next year with more confidence. My younger son is also looking forward to commencing the program next year

Our family discovered Learningland 4 Kids during 2015 (via many recommendations). My daughter had commenced school at this time so she did not attend Learningland 4 Kids. We now wish we had have known about the program earlier as my daughter was not given the incredible opportunity and education support that our son has now received as a result of Sue’s program. The difference in their readiness for school is quite remarkable. After attending Learningland 4 Kids for two years, William now has a very strong knowledge of key areas of alphabet, sounds, words, and numbers. I feel he has a very strong head-start going into school. Starting School is a challenge in any child’s life (it is a very big step) and we think now that our son has done this program, he will be very ready to tackle next year in Prep. The concepts that he will learn at school, we will have already covered in this program, which means that rather than learning things for the first time, he can build on his knowledge. Every week there is an exciting new learning adventure that the children explore. From William’s, experience at Learningland 4 Kids, his confidence has grown and he genuinely looks forward to what will be taught the following week. Sue provides a large range of activities and exercises to the children – as a result they remain engaged for the duration of the program each week. Sue is incredibly patient, kind and caring. She also observes the children and can provide immediate feedback on how they are progressing. Sue mentioned a few areas that our son may have needed assistance with. As a result, we have worked on this at home and we have noticed huge improvement. Sue’s warmth and openness means that both the adult and child can approach her with any concerns. I cannot recommend Sue and the program highly enough.

Fiona – Ashburton

Both my daughters have completed 2 years of Learningland 4 Kids programs and I highly recommend them to anyone with pre-schoolers (or even now Preppies, with the newest program!). For kids it is all about craft and games and they don’t actually realise that they are learning as well. But the day I pulled up at Bunnings with my 3 year old and she excitedly announced there was a “Sammy Snake” on the sign (Learningland 4 Kids speak for ‘S’) It was a pretty proud day! Sue is amazing with the kids and has so much energy that the class is just a tonne of fun for everyone.

I wanted to let you know how much William looks forward to your classes. I am so thrilled to see how much joy he gets out of your class. He comes home enthusiastically explaining to me the letter of the day, this includes telling me the character’s name, along with the sound and movement to match; he also shows me how to draw the letter with his finger in the air. You are obviously doing something magical, I have not seen William this engaged in any of his other activities. Thank you so much Sue for your encouragement and for giving William confidence.

Our experience at Learningland 4 Kids has been nothing short of superb. Sue is an inspiring teacher who creates a fun filled environment of learning, which quickly became the favourite part of my child’s week. It’s lovely to see each week’s learning supported by a clever craft. Listening, concentrating, manners and respect are all important skills my son has practised along the way whilst having lots of fun. Sue’s experience is evident, both in her dealings with the children, and clear feedback to parents.

My son, has greatly benefited from the Learningland 4 Kids program, not only from an academic perspective, but also from a social perspective. He looks forward to visiting Learningland and meeting the different characters that represent each letter of the alphabet.  He squeals with delight when he sees them outside the Learningland 4 Kids environment, “There is Clever Cat (“C”) with Oscar Orange (“O”)” in the Coles sign.  I would highly recommend Learningland 4 Kids to any parent looking for an engaging, interactive and fun program, which instils the love for learning from an early age.

Learningland 4 Kids is a wonderful program that I could not speak more highly of. I have now had 2 children go through the program and every week they looked forward to attending and learning with Sue. My eldest daughter now in school still asks about Sue and wants to attend with her younger sister. Sue is a very talented teacher and she makes learning fun. I would very highly recommend this program.

We enrolled James in Learningland 4 Kids when he turned 4 as we were concerned about his fine motor skill development and limited concentration when it came to simple colouring in or any kind of drawing.  After 3 terms of Learningland 4 kids we now have a confident 4 year old boy who can hold a pencil, write the letters of the alphabet, holds his concentration on all his artwork and more importantly enjoys colouring in and being creative. He loves to practice the sounds of all the letters and has even started to read basic words. This has given us the confidence that he is more than ready to start to school next year and we could not be happier with what this program has done for our James. Much thanks Sue!

My 5 year old son started Learningland with Sue mid-year. We wanted to do something extra to prepare him for school next year. He absolutely loves the classes and looks forward to Fridays. Within a couple of sessions he was writing more confidently and was able pronounce the first letters in words.
