LEARNING LEFT FROM RIGHT HAND
Learning to distinguish left from right hand can be difficult for most children unless Lucy Lamplight lends a hand! We learnt to place our hands palm down in front of us with the thumbs touching. The left hand looks like the letter L and this reminds them it is a left. The backwards “L” is always the right hand. Then to practise using our left and right hand, we sang ‘Here we go Looby Loo’. We all had lots of laughs!
