About Us

Our Story

At Learningland 4 Kids (LL4K), we are passionate about children and education. For over 10 years, we have proudly served children and families across Melbourne.

The program was originally led by the dedicated and talented educator Sue Kennedy, who ran the program until her retirement in 2023.

Our current owner and director, Shanley Antcliffe, now leads our team of qualified early learning and primary school teachers and tutors. Shanley is a passionate and committed educator with a Master’s in Primary School Teaching from the University of Sydney. She teaches and tutors in both our early learning and primary school programs.

Shanley is dedicated to using an evidence-based, multidimensional approach to ensure school readiness and success. Her goal is to provide students with exceptional academic preparation for their learning journey, as well as the skills, behaviours, motivation, and confidence needed to thrive.

In 2025, we are excited to continue our impactful work at Learningland 4 Kids and to expand our programs from our new classroom in Ashburton, Melbourne, Australia.

Our intentional, teacher-led approach to teaching and learning ensures that students receive explicit instruction to maximize their learning outcomes, setting them up for success during the foundational years of formal schooling.

Our curriculum draws upon the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) and the Victorian School Curriculum (F-10), ensuring that students receive:
